Start with the nameplate
Every Fabco transfer case carries a nameplate on the housing with the model, the serial number and, on most cases, the ratio. Those three details decide which gears, shafts, bearings and seals fit, because most Fabco models were built in several versions: one or two rear outputs, air or manual shift, with or without a PTO, a declutch or a differential. Find your model below, then read the matching page. Each one says what versions its Fabco manual covers and links the manual itself.

The parts manual for each model is on its page as a PDF: exploded drawings, item numbers and Fabco part numbers. The TC-1702 book is the full service manual, with specifications, lubrication and torque figures. Most models also have a priced, searchable parts list on our online store, where you can order by part number.
