Fabco TC-170PD transfer case parts
The TC-170 PD adds a differential in the lower shaft, in a 33/67 or a 50/50 split.
The Fabco TC-170PD or TC-170 PD shares its upper shaft, intermediate shaft and air shift cylinder with the TC-170. What sets it apart is the lower shaft: a 33/67 differential built as a planetary set, or a 50/50 differential with side gears, plus the differential lockout housing.
If you are not sure which split you have, the parts are easy to tell apart once the case is open: the 33/67 has a 10 tooth planet, a 20 tooth sun on the front output shaft and a 40 tooth internal gear.
